According to Israeli media reports, consultations to nominate a prime ministerial candidate entered their second day, with eight political parties scheduled to meet with the president today. The United Torah Jewish Party was the first to appear, having informed the president that it would not nominate anyone to form a government. This move is a blow to Netanyahu, who previously supported his government. The Judaism party's parliamentary group nominated Netanyahu as prime minister and tasked him with forming a new government. Prior to these two parties, Unity Israel and the Torah Banner party had already announced they would not nominate any candidates.
