On Nov 4, 2026, China’s MFA Consular Department and the UAE Foreign Ministry held the third round of China–UAE consular consultations in Abu Dhabi. Discussions focused on consular relations, facilitation of travel, and protection of the safety and lawful rights of overseas citizens. Both sides agreed to implement leaders’ consensus, strengthen consular communication and coordination, further ease personnel mobility, and enhance protection for people and institutions to support people-to-people exchanges and practical cooperation.

The event will launch the second national batch of 5G+ industrial internet city pilots, roll out the first “1+M+N” national compute interconnectivity industry nodes and activate a national compute interconnectivity regional node in Hubei. Organizers will also host on-site industry–finance matching with the National Manufacturing Fund, the Yangtze River Industry Fund and a Future Industry (6G) Fund to accelerate integration of technology outcomes with capital.
