On Nov. 2, 2026 in Beijing, witnessed by both countries' heads of state, CSRC chairman Wu Qing and Oman's Foreign Minister Badr signed a memorandum of understanding on securities and futures regulatory cooperation. The MOU establishes a framework for regulatory exchanges and cross-border supervision and enforcement cooperation between the two regulators. CSRC has now signed bilateral securities and futures MOUs with 68 jurisdictions, creating formal cross-border regulatory and enforcement cooperation mechanisms.
