Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bagaë refuted EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Karas's unfounded accusations of Iranian interference in the Saudi-Yemeni conflict. He pointed out that the EU itself, through its involvement in sanctions and economic blockades against the Yemeni people, has become complicit in the country's serious human rights abuses. He added that European officials cannot shirk their responsibility with diversionary rhetoric.
