In a Nov. 5 report on responsible AI, Alibaba said Alibaba Cloud is accelerating improvements in data-center resource and energy-use efficiency and targeting higher land power density. Unit IT capacity rose from 0.8 kW/sq m to 4.5 kW/sq m over the past two years; the company expects to double that to 9 kW/sq m by next March.
