On Thursday at the White House, President Trump said the US is preparing
multiple measures against Iran and that "in the next one to two weeks you'll see
a lot happen." He said he would prefer not to "destroy the rest of Iran" but
"may have to," warned Iran can do nothing without US approval, and said the US
is "fully prepared" to take further action and can strike at any time. Trump
called a conflict with Iran not a conventional "war" but an "occupation," and
praised Defense Secretary Hegseth's performance as excellent.
