In Moscow on the 5th, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zakharova said recently
Russia‑US exchanges on the bilateral agenda — including discussions between
Foreign Minister Lavrov and US Secretary of State Rubio via multilateral
platforms such as the UN and G20 — produced no substantive progress. She said
talks with Japan can only resume once Japanese authorities abandon their
anti-Russia line.
