At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts declined, with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), plastics, and propylene falling over 3%, while tin, eggs, and benzene fell nearly 3%. Container shipping contracts for Europe, polypropylene, soda ash, and rapeseed oil fell over 2%. On the upside, apples rose over 5%, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) rose over 4%, coking coal, lithium carbonate, red dates, and nickel rose over 2%, and coking coal, fuel oil, and caustic soda rose over 1%.
