The 25th session of the 14th National People’s Congress Standing Committee
concluded, voted to approve 15 laws and related decisions, notably a
Prosecutorial Public‑Interest Litigation Law, an Anti‑Cross‑Border Corruption
Law, a revised Water Law, an Antarctic Activities and Environmental Protection
Law, and amendments to the Emergency Response Law. CHINA signed presidential
Orders Nos.86–91 enacting the measures. The meeting also voted to remove Li
Lecheng from his post as minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information
Technology (MIIT). The committee approved a decision to ratify the agreement
establishing the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization.
