The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that manufacturing employment continued to rise in October, increasing by 19,000. Since the recent low in December 2025, the sector has added a total of 101,000 jobs. The computer and electronics manufacturing sector added 7,000 jobs that month, while the machinery manufacturing and primary metals manufacturing sectors each added 4,000 jobs.
