Colombia's Minister of Mines stated that repair work on the oil pipeline shared with Venezuela will begin before the end of the year, with operations expected to resume by mid-2027. However, restarting will still require regulatory approval and permission from the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
