Trump and NASA announced CapeWeek, a new US aerospace industry conference to be
held at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, in two years. Organizers say the event
aims to exceed rival international airshows and serve as an alternative to
overseas events, showingcasing US aerospace capabilities and attracting global
commercial activity. It will join the calendar alongside established shows
including the Paris Air Show, Farnborough and Dubai. In September the White
House urged US aerospace firms not to attend a high-profile global space summit
in Paris organized by French president Macron.
