Houthi forces said they launched four waves of attacks. They claimed the first
wave struck Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport, ARAMCO fuel storage
tanks and the Riyadh financial district, causing significant damage. The second
wave, they said, hit ARAMCO facilities in Buqayq and sparked fires. The third
wave targeted Saudi troop concentrations in eastern Al-Jawf province and the
Madghal area of Marib province—forces they said were under the command of Faris
al-Shammari—and caused heavy casualties. The fourth wave, they said, struck
Saudi troop concentrations in the Mudarabah area of Lahij province, under the
command of Badr al-Harbi, also inflicting heavy casualties. These claims have
not been independently verified.
