U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC): As of the week ending January 28, speculators increased their net long position in CBOT U.S. Treasury futures by 4,128 contracts to 28,584 contracts. Net short positions in U.S. Ultra-Long-Term Treasury Bond futures increased by 11,604 contracts to 241,592 contracts. Net short positions in U.S. 2-Year Treasury Note futures increased by 27,182 contracts to 1,201,559 contracts. Net short positions in U.S. 5-Year Treasury Note futures decreased by 20,136 contracts to 1,776,055 contracts. Net short positions in U.S. 10-Year Treasury Note futures increased by 120,397 contracts to 120,397 contracts.
