At the close of the midday session, the main domestic futures contracts rose and fell. The European container shipping line hit the daily limit, up 16%; soybean oil rose more than 3%, coke, palm oil, Shanghai zinc, silicomanganese, ferrosilicon, and coking coal rose nearly 3%. In terms of decline, caustic soda and live pigs fell more than 1%.
