At the close of midday trading, most of the main domestic futures contracts fell, with the container shipping index (European line) falling by more than 7%, pulp and alumina falling by more than 3%, coking coal, industrial silicon, polysilicon, SC crude oil, rapeseed meal and urea falling by more than 2%; in terms of gains, short fibers, asphalt and international copper rose by nearly 1%.
