[US judge rules Apple violated order to reform App Store] A federal judge in California ruled on Wednesday that Apple (AAPL.O) violated a U.S. court order requiring Apple to allow greater competition in app downloads and payment methods in its lucrative App Store. The judge also referred the case to federal prosecutors. Judge Rogers said in the ruling that Apple did not comply with her previous injunction, which was enforced in an antitrust lawsuit filed by Fortnite developer Epic Games. "Apple's continued attempts to interfere with competition are intolerable," Rogers said. "This is an injunction, not a negotiation. Once a party deliberately ignores a court order, there is no chance to start over."
