[US stocks closed: three major stock indexes rose Cryptocurrency concepts strengthened] US stocks closed on Thursday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average initially closing up 0.6%, the S&P 500 up 0.58%, and the Nasdaq up 1.07%. Cryptocurrency concept stocks led the market, with Canaan Technology (CAN.O) up nearly 9%, Robinhood (HOOD.O) up 8%, and Strategy (MSTR.O) up more than 5%. Google A (GOOGL.O) rose nearly 2%, and Tesla (TSLA.O) rose 3%. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index closed up nearly 1%, and Alibaba (BABA.N) rose 2%.
