According to Ukrainian sources familiar with the talks, Russian negotiators demanded that Ukraine withdraw its troops from all Ukrainian regions claimed by Moscow before the ceasefire begins. The Russian representatives also demanded that the international community recognize five Ukrainian regions as Russian, that Ukraine maintain a neutral position and not demand compensation.
