National Bureau of Statistics: Crude oil production grew steadily. In May, the output of industrial crude oil above designated size was 18.47 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.8%, 0.3 percentage points faster than in April; the average daily output was 596,000 tons. From January to May, the output of industrial crude oil above designated size was 90.28 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.3%. The decline in crude oil processing has widened.
