According to the Wall Street Journal: U.S. lawmakers are reviewing the use of H-1B visas by large companies including Amazon (AMZN.O) and Apple (AAPL.O) during layoffs in the United States. U.S. senators have asked companies to provide salaries of H-1B visa employees and any possible displacement of U.S. employees by October 10.
