The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) reported that in the week ending September 23, Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) soybean speculators increased their net short position by 30,347 contracts to 87,487 contracts, while cotton speculators on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) increased their net short position by 3,304 contracts to 68,812 contracts. ICE sugar speculators increased their net short position by 22,260 contracts to 168,357 contracts, while corn speculators on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) increased their net short position by 4,401 contracts to 211,813 contracts.
