China’s National People’s Congress Standing Committee chairman ZHAO LEJI made an official visit to Russia from 27–30, holding talks in Moscow with Federation Council chair Valentina Matviyenko and State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin and attending the 11th meeting of the China‑Russia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee. Zhao said inter‑parliamentary exchange mechanisms have been strengthened and have helped optimize the bilateral legal framework and solidify public support for the relationship.
