China's National Health Commission, with other ministries, issued Implementation Opinions containing 16 measures to reform and strengthen the children's drug supply guarantee mechanism across the full chain — R&D, manufacturing, supply, clinical use, payment and regulation. Key measures: accelerate innovative pediatric drug R&D; bolster production and supply to meet pediatric demand; expand pediatric pharmaceutical services; and enhance interdepartmental coordination on oversight and delivery.
