Guangdong held a service-industry conference in Guangzhou on June 4 and said it
will quickly roll out a series of one‑industry‑one‑policy measures to expand
scale, optimise structure and raise capability across services. Priority actions
include boosting wholesale, retail, accommodation and catering to lift scale and
quality; accelerating cultivation of the financial sector into a major pillar
industry; seizing a historic opportunity to drive leapfrog growth in information
transmission, software and IT services; and promoting stable, healthy
development of the real‑estate sector. The province also aims to strengthen
leasing and business services, develop transport, warehousing and postal
logistics, advance high‑quality technology services amid structural
optimisation, and speed up growth in culture, sports, entertainment and
household/repair services to meet market demand.
