Guangdong held a service-industry conference in Guangzhou on June 4 and said it
will quickly roll out a series of one‑industry‑one‑policy measures to expand
scale, optimize structure and raise capability across services. Priority actions
include boosting wholesale, retail, accommodation and catering to lift scale and
quality; accelerating cultivation of the financial sector into a major pillar
industry; seizing a historic opportunity to drive leapfrog growth in information
transmission, software and IT services; and promoting stable, healthy
development of the real‑estate sector. The province also aims to strengthen
leasing and business services, develop transport, warehouse and postal
logistics, advance high-quality technology services amid structural
optimization, and speed up growth in culture, sports, entertainment and
household/repair services to meet market demand.
