IRNA reported Hezbollah condemned an Israeli strike that killed occupants of a Lebanese military vehicle.

Researchers at the Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence (BAAI) and Tsinghua University report that memory reactivation during sleep helps regulate sleep dynamics, providing experimental evidence of bidirectional memory–sleep interactions; the study is published in Science. BAAI said it has developed Brainμ0, a multimodal foundational model aimed at unifying heterogeneous, high-throughput, long-duration neural data, and will continue advancing the Brainμ series to integrate AI with cross-scale basic neuroscience research.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on the 6th it struck a Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) vehicle in southern Lebanon and is investigating. The IDF said it detected a "suspicious vehicle" approaching its troops in the Taibnit area, which it described as an "active combat zone," and had intelligence Hezbollah planned to fire from that area. Citing that intelligence and a perceived threat to soldiers, the IDF struck the vehicle. Preliminary checks found two LAF officers and one soldier inside; the investigation is ongoing. The IDF said its operational target was Hezbollah, not the Lebanese army.
