Iran reported that, after transit through the Strait of Hormuz was suspended following what it described as hostile US actions, about 50 vessels are awaiting passage clearance from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy.

Since October 2025, China’s telecom fraud cases have fallen year‑on‑year for eight consecutive months, the Ministry of Public Security said. Ten scam types account for about 85% of cases: order‑rebate schemes, fraudulent e‑commerce/shopping services, fake online investment and wealth‑management, impersonation of e‑commerce logistics customer service, loan/credit‑check scams, fake in‑game transactions, online dating fraud, impersonation of law‑enforcement or judicial officials, impersonating executives or acquaintances, and airline ticket refund/rescheduling fraud. Order‑rebate schemes are the most frequent, making up 25% of cases. Fake online investment scams account for roughly 40% of total reported losses; cases with losses in the millions to tens of millions of yuan are predominantly this type.

Egypt’s foreign ministry welcomed US President Trump’s cancellation of planned military strikes against Iran and urged both sides to seize the opportunity to reach a final agreement on outstanding issues, end the war and restore regional stability. The ministry said Egypt will continue coordinating with regional and international partners to de‑escalate tensions.
