IRNA reported a Lebanese official said the fifth round of talks with Israeli representatives will be held in Washington on June 22.

Eleven ministries including the Ministry of Transport, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued an implementation plan to accelerate deployment of new-energy heavy trucks. The plan targets 40% penetration by 2030 with fleet stock above 1.6 mln units (roughly 20% of total). It calls for 30,000 km of zero-carbon highway transport corridors and about 3,000 heavy-truck charging and battery-swap stations nationwide, and aims to electrify more than 80% of fixed-route short‑haul truck operations in major air‑pollution regions such as the Beijing‑Tianjin‑Hebei and Fenwei plains. New-energy heavy trucks are defined as heavy goods vehicles with GVW ≥12t using new propulsion systems.

Poland's Prime Minister Tusk said on Saturday that, given expectations of an easing in a conflict involving Iran and stabilising prices, Poland will end fuel price caps this summer. In March the government cut fuel VAT from 23% to 8%, reduced excise duty to the EU minimum and imposed daily caps on motor fuel prices; those measures have been extended every two weeks since. This week Warsaw extended the VAT cut and price caps to end-June but did not extend the excise reduction. Tusk said Poland had the cheapest fuel in Europe during the crisis but the measures will be ended this summer.
