At a media briefing, chief legal officer Yuan Hebin said the 2022 cost-reduction target of 600 yuan per pig has reached 323 yuan per head as of end-May, leaving 277 yuan per head to hit the target. He said the savings reflect higher labor and material efficiency and refined management, and the company sees further cost-cutting potential.
