SDIC Yalong River Company said China’s first integrated hydro-wind-solar smart
operations large model was released in the Yalong River basin, Sichuan. The
model links weather, hydrology and wind/solar resource forecasting to power
operations decision-making across the full chain for tens-of-gigawatts
clean-energy bases, acting as a "smart brain." It consolidates satellite remote
sensing, ground meteorological stations, watershed hydrometric stations and
renewable-asset sensors into an integrated forecasting system covering the full
basin, all resource elements, multiple time horizons and the
generation-dispatch-O&M-trading business chain. The company said the model,
trained on massive real-world data and optimized for complex highland scenarios,
has substantially upgraded forecasting capability.
