The ministry said it will conduct central safety-production assessments in Q3, using both announced and unannounced inspections, and urged local governments and relevant departments to strictly fulfil responsibilities, carry out targeted rectifications in mines, fire safety, hazardous chemicals, fireworks and industrial-commercial sectors, and strengthen risk assessment and deployment to firmly stabilise the safety-production situation.
