Iranian President Pezeshkian said US and Israeli strikes are based on artificial-intelligence data, espionage networks, mercenaries and domestic agents, but their plans have been thwarted one by one, according to Mehr news agency. He made the remarks at a Tehran University meeting.

Sentix data show euro-area investor confidence returned to positive territory in August and rose for a fourth consecutive month. The improvement was driven by a marked rebound in investors’ assessment of current conditions and a pickup in expectations. Sentix said the confidence shock from the Iran war appears partly absorbed, though high energy costs and weak order books continue to weigh on the outlook.
