The PBOC released its Q2 2026 monetary policy implementation report, saying it will continue a moderately loose monetary stance. It will enhance forward-looking, flexible and targeted policy calibration and adjust monetary-policy tools as needed to keep liquidity ample and social financing conditions relatively loose, guiding growth of social financing and money supply to match economic growth and price-level expectations. The bank said it will calibrate policy strength, timing and pace based on domestic and external economic and financial conditions and market developments, and strengthen coordination with fiscal policy to support stable growth, high-quality development and financial-market stability.
