NBS spokesman Wang Guanhua said price recovery depends mainly on domestic demand
and supply conditions. The Central Politburo has called for optimizing fiscal
and financial coordination to boost domestic demand, expanding quality supply to
meet diverse consumer groups, and tapping service consumption potential. Local
authorities are implementing measures and additional demand- and
consumption-supporting policies will be rolled out; faster product iteration
should further stimulate new consumption. Consequently, prices are expected to
maintain a moderate upward trend in H2.
