At midday close, China’s front-month futures were mostly higher. SC crude oil jumped nearly 6%; fuel oil rose over 5%; LPG gained about 5%; ethylene glycol climbed more than 4%; low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), synthetic rubber and benzene were up over 3%. On the downside, polysilicon fell over 4%; eggs, Shanghai tin and international copper lost more than 1%; Shanghai copper and red dates declined around 1%.

Zhongke Yuhang said its Lixun-1 upper stage completed a series of propulsion-system tests and is scheduled for a maiden flight in Q1 next year. The upper stage, described as a space tug mounted between a rocket and its payload, will take over orbital transfer after launch to move and deploy satellites to individual orbital slots, chief designer Yang Haoliang said. Yang said pairing Lixun-1 with the Lijian-2 rocket family will broaden mission scope, fill a capability gap for medium-to-large private Chinese rockets in deep-space tasks, enable custom launches to special orbits covering most commercial satellite needs, and allow participation in major national space projects.

MOFCOM and eight other ministries issued guidance to boost lower-tier market activity and county-level consumption, calling for activation of idle assets. Projects that reuse existing properties or land to develop county social services such as elderly care and childcare may receive up to five years of transitional support without requiring changes to the land-use holder or planning conditions. Subject to national land‑space planning, authorities encourage stock‑land redevelopment through self-operation, joint ventures or transfers to raise local commercial service capacity. County governments are supported to convert vacated office buildings and other idle state assets into convenience commercial outlets. Rural collective commercial construction land may be lawfully brought to market to develop county commerce, and idle rural housing is encouraged to be repurposed for new, village‑appropriate industries and business formats.
