At midday close, China’s front-month futures were mostly higher. SC crude oil
jumped nearly 6%; fuel oil rose over 5%; LPG gained about 5%; ethylene glycol
climbed more than 4%; low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), synthetic rubber and benzene
were up over 3%. On the downside, polysilicon fell over 4%; eggs, Shanghai tin
and international copper lost more than 1%; Shanghai copper and red dates
declined around 1%.
