At its 2026 interim results briefing, Kweichow Moutai director Wang Li, acting
general manager, said prices are market-determined and adjustments respond to
supply–demand changes. The company has made five price adjustments this year
under principles of market-following, relative stability, supply–demand
alignment and volume–price balance. Kweichow Moutai said these measures
establish a market-demand-driven consumer and supply-side pricing framework and
a dynamic price-adjustment mechanism, producing a more balanced per-ton average
price across its product range and pushing sales prices to align with actual
market transaction prices.
