On Aug. 24 in Beijing CHINA and Jordan's King Abdullah II discussed the Middle East. CHINA called for an immediate, comprehensive ceasefire and political-diplomatic resolution, stressing that regional states' sovereignty and security, including Jordan's, must be respected.
