At 09:00 the Beijing Municipal Water Authority and Meteorological Bureau jointly issued a yellow mountain-flood risk warning, effective from 09:00 Aug 25, for possible mountain floods in the city's mountainous zones. At 09:00 they also issued a blue urban waterlogging risk warning, effective from 09:00 Aug 25, indicating a general risk of pooling and urban inundation in central districts.
