He described recent U.S. announcements of blockades and sanctions as not substantively new, and said if Iran sees the U.S. fail to meet conditions or not return to the memorandum of understanding, Tehran will take necessary measures; he added Iran’s ongoing adjustments to military strategy reflect that stance.
