CFTC: Speculative net short positions in the four main natural-gas contracts on NYMEX and ICE fell by 27,238 contracts to 39,598 in the week ended Aug. 25.

Baidu Intelligent Cloud has completed a product and R&D reorganization. The former Platform Product Division was renamed the Intelligent Agent Division; its MaaS business and related product suites were moved into the Infrastructure Division. The Data Platform Department was renamed Data Intelligence and folded into the Intelligent Applications Division. Post-reorg leadership: Hou Zhenyu will head the Infrastructure Division, overseeing AI Infra and Agent Infra; Yin Dawei will lead the Intelligent Agent Division, focusing on Agent products including Baidu Dazi, Miaoda and Famu; Ruan Yu will run the Intelligent Applications Division, managing Baidu Yijian, Hogee, Shengsuan and transport and financial industry applications. All three report to Shen Dou, Baidu Group executive vice president and president of the Intelligent Cloud Business Group.
