Tasnim News Agency reported Iraq’s prime minister’s security adviser Qasim al-Araji said the US will withdraw its air-defence systems and remaining forces from the Iraqi Kurdish region before end-September. He said the US is fully prepared to withdraw under the agreement within the deadline, and US plans reportedly include relocating the systems to Jordan, the UK and Cyprus.

On Sept. 4 the Shanxi Development and Reform Commission and Provincial Private Economy Bureau released the third batch of 2026 projects for private capital promotion: 30 projects with total planned investment of 30.4 bln yuan, seeking 14.4 bln yuan in private funding. Project breakdown: 12 industrial projects (including key industry-chain/supply-chain projects), 11 major engineering and gap‑filling projects, 2 user‑fee concession projects and 5 other projects.
