MOFCOM said BRICS have adopted over 60 outcome documents across 16
trade-minister meetings. The bloc now comprises 11 member states and 10 partner
countries; members account for nearly half of the world’s population, about 30%
of global GDP and roughly 20% of world trade. Agreed measures cover trade and
investment facilitation, support for the multilateral trading system, standards
cooperation, supply-chain resilience, the digital economy and green development,
intended to support global growth and a fair, open international trade order.
