They claimed to have driven Saudi forces from six districts in Taiz and Hodeidah provinces, covering about 5,400 sq km; struck seven Saudi military formations involving 38 brigades; freed personnel held for years by Saudi-aligned mercenaries; and conducted 32 interceptions of Saudi warplanes, claiming nine aircraft shot down. The Houthis said maritime navigation is safe for all companies except Saudi-flagged vessels and vowed to maintain a "blockade-for-blockade" policy, striking Saudi forces and escalating in response to further Saudi actions until the aggression stops and any blockade is lifted.
