Network security stocks were active; Zhongxin Saike recorded a third consecutive daily limit-up. CRO sector advanced, with Wanbang Pharma at the daily limit. MLCC, consumer electronics, minor metals, passenger vehicle and semiconductor sectors outperformed, while grain, defense/military, coal and education underperformed. Roughly 3,600 stocks were higher and half-day turnover exceeded 1.1 trillion yuan.

MOFCOM’s Consumption Promotion Department released an Action Plan with seven measures to address growth points and bottlenecks in smart-home consumption, prioritizing expansion of high-quality smart-home supply, improvement of the smart-home standards system, and optimization of community convenience services. The plan highlights four priorities: coordinate supply and demand; build a diversified, integrated ecosystem; deliver targeted services for different consumer groups; and streamline the convenience-service chain. MOFCOM said it will coordinate with other departments to implement the measures and accelerate policy rollout to drive household adoption of smart-home products.
