Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said Hamas will not remain in Gaza and that no armed personnel will be spared from strikes.

On the 14th (local time) the UN said Israel's ongoing military operations in the Gaza Strip continue to cause civilian casualties. Restricted access to engine lubricants and parts, together with fuel shortages, is placing severe strain on energy supplies for Gaza's water, desalination and medical services. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said military operations continued over the weekend, particularly west of the temporary ceasefire's so-called 'yellow line'.

Oleg Kobyakov, head of the FAO liaison office in the Russian Federation, said in an interview that shipping disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz will reduce global food production and supply in H2 2026 and 2027. The FAO warned the shock could push up food prices and depress output in subsequent agricultural seasons, exacerbating hunger in countries already facing long-term or severe food crises. It noted the Strait is a key route not only for oil but for regional urea and other fertilizer exports to global markets.
