BEIJING, Sept 20 — The World Public Science Literacy Organization, an
international science body initiated with support from the China Association for
Science and Technology, was officially unveiled at the opening of the 2026 World
Conference on Promoting Public Science Literacy in Beijing. Registered in
Beijing in June, the group leverages resources and international partnerships
from the conference series and has 32 founding members from 21 countries across
Asia, Europe, South America, Africa and Oceania.
