Amazon plans to invest $3 billion in India’s quick-commerce business by 2030, two people familiar with the plan said. The company intends to deploy $1 billion by end-2027 and a further $2 billion by 2030. Amazon said the unit’s annualized gross merchandise value over the past three months has exceeded $1 billion and called it the fastest‑growing e‑commerce business in Amazon India’s history.

At the morning close, China’s most-active futures contracts were mixed. Lithium carbonate fell more than 4%; Shanghai silver and platinum dropped over 3%; Europe-route container freight, polysilicon and palladium slid over 2%; coking coal and live hogs eased about 1%. On the upside, SC crude rose over 4%; fuel oil and synthetic rubber gained more than 3%; low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and 20# rubber climbed nearly 3%; LPG, bottle-grade PET chips and PTA advanced over 2%.
