The Wall Street Journal reports OpenAI-backed startup Red Queen Bio plans to begin human trials of antibody therapeutics next year.

China's National Bureau of Statistics said Jan–Aug 2026 profits at industrial enterprises above designated size improved. Raw-materials manufacturing profits rose 47.3% YoY, contributing 6.2 percentage points to overall profit growth for above-designated-size industrial enterprises. Samsung Electronics is accelerating construction of its first mass-production line (Ph1) at the P5 campus in Pyeongtaek and is negotiating with major equipment suppliers to move Ph1 equipment-installation from next year’s Q3 to Q2. The move is being read as an effort to rapidly secure capacity in response to an AI-driven surge in demand for higher-value DRAM and NAND flash.
